Guidance to help employers, employees and the self-employed to work safely during the Coronavirus epidemic
This page aims to share with employers and workers best practise guidance on working safely during the coronavirus pandemic.
In these fast changing times please also refer to the Government of Jersey (COVID-19) information hub for the latest information.
The UK government, in consultation with industry, has produced guidance to help ensure workplaces are as safe as possible.
These 8 guides cover a range of different types of work. Many businesses operate more than one type of workplace, such as an office, factory and fleet of vehicles. You may need to use more than one of these guides as you think through what you need to do to keep people safe.
In addition to the guides, a risk assessment template is provided together with a poster to display in your workplace to show you have followed the guidance.
It is easy to become focused on COVID-19 in the business.
Please don't neglect the normal, everyday health and safety risks.
