Scaffold inspection record book

A new scaffold inspection record book is now available here.

The perforated pages in the new versions will give you more flexibility in how you choose to file these documents. 

The record books are available from:

Scaffold: Handover certificate

Every scaffold from which a person could fall 2 metres or more must be thoroughly examined by a competent person before it is brought into use, and after it has been substantially altered or erected.

This thorough examination will usually be carried out by the scaffolding contractor who erected the scaffold.

The scaffolder will complete a Certificate of thorough examination of a scaffold at time of handover
