Dear Users,

Due to the implementation of the Management in Construction (Jersey) Regulation 2016 on 01 October 2016 this scheme is now closed to new enrolment or updating of existing delegates.

Those individuals with current cards or certificates are advised to contact their employers or organisational body as they are no longer applicable as a demonstration of basic competence or knowledge for construction sites in Jersey from 01 October 2016.

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and it is hoped that the scheme will be back up and running as soon as possible.

ACCREDITED HEALTH AND SAFETY PROJECT COORDINATOR COURSE

November dates planned: please ask to be added to our waiting list

Cost: ┬ú575.00 (inclusive of exam papers & certificates etc)  

Lunch, teas and coffee provided

Small groups of 12 - 14 delegates

This two and a half day course, which is accredited by the Association of Project Safety, will be provided by a nationally recognised training provider at a local venue. 

The Jersey Safety Council, in conjunction with the Health and Safety at Work Inspectorate, has arranged accredited training to enable persons to carry out the role of the Health and Safety Project Co-ordinator.

Health and Safety (Management in Construction) (Jersey) Regulations 2016

The 2016 Construction Regulations identifies the need for a new role, a Health and Safety Project Co-ordinator - equivalent to a UK CDMC - to be appointed for major construction projects.
